Pastor 

Lew and his family have resided and served in the Anne Arundel community for over twenty years. Called by God into fulltime ministry several years ago, he is passionate about living a life of authentic Christianity. Lew served on the staff at a local church as the director of small group ministry for five years. He developed and led a thriving program of over sixty life groups. During that time, he also championed the membership, maturity, and ministry teams. After planting MACC in the spring of 2004, he was appointed to the lead pastor position.  Having a heart for Jesus, his desire is to be used by God to help others discover the love of Christ. Lew and his wife Nancy are the parents of four grown children and six grandchildren.

Favorite part of working in ministry:
George Bernard Shaw once said, "Youth is wasted on the young." I understand what he meant by this, but I believe that's why Jesus told us to reach young people. I am passionate about these young people and their relationship to Christ. We should never give up on our young people and should fight to share with them the love of Jesus.

School/work history:
I have an associate degree in architecture, and have also been to the school of hard knocks. I have worked in student ministry for 18 years. I also work as a videographer.

I am straight from the south side of Bowie, MD.

Favorite activities outside of ministry:
I love hanging out with my beautiful wife and three kids. You can also find me working on old cars and playing football.

Children's Ministry Director

Favorite part of working in ministry:
Lots of things! To start, being able to bring God's word to life in crazy and fun ways. It definitely keeps me laughing and it gets the kids excited about what they are learning. Also, worshipping with the kids. There's not much that's better than seeing a child shut their eyes and sing to our God.

School/work history:
I attended South River High School and AACC. I taught dance for 2 years, worked for my family’s business for 5 years, and was a nanny for 3 years before joining the staff at MACC.

Technical Director

Favorite part of working in ministry:
What I love about tech ministry is just being able to add creative elements to support all of the other ministries at MACC.  Whether it is graphics, video, web, or audio, I love being able to take those elements and come up with new and exciting ways to do ministry.

School/work history:
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in electronic media and film from Towson University. I have worked as a freelance videographer for the National Guard, Spike TV, and more.

Favorite activities outside of ministry:
I love playing guitar in my band My Maker And I.  Also, I love to ride down mountains with a board strapped to my feet, otherwise known as snowboarding.  I am the technical director so technically I like technical things such as photography, music, and filmmaking.

Favorite part of working in ministry:
In student ministry, I enjoy sharing God’s love with kids through building long lasting friendships. In the office, I love being able to work with our huge variety of ministries at MACC.

School/work history:
I studied journalism and photography at Towson University. I have volunteered and worked in youth ministry for about 6 years.

I received a BS in Business Management from the University of Maryland. Four years after graduating I began my amazing career; I stayed home and raised my family.

Worship Director

Favorite part of working in ministry:
I get to serve with an awesome group of talented artists for the sole purpose of bringing God glory!

School/work history:
I have a Bachelor of Liberal Arts. I am currently a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton.
