The mission of the Children's Ministry at Mid Atlantic Community Church is to present God's Word in a compelling, loving, and engaging way. We strive to provide a warm and caring environment where children can have fun as they learn through our MACC Clubhouse. Our curriculum follows Luke 2:52 "and Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men."
Our primary concern is your child's safety and care.
- Check-in process - each child must be signed in each week
- Clean up - all toys, equipment, and changing tables are kept sanitary with disinfectant
- Teacher training - every lead teacher is at least 20 years old and many are certified in CPR
We make every effort to ensure that your child's time with us is a safe and happy one.
The Sunday morning is divided into lower and upper age groups. For our younger children, infants through age four, we offer a nursery and preschool Sunday School classes. You'll find these classes well staffed and well equipped to care for your child.
For our older children, age five through fifth grade, Sunday morning begins just as it does for the adults. There is a half-hour of worship and teaching called "Club Worship" where they will sing songs, hear bible stories, learn memory verses, participate in skits and generally have lots of fun! After "Club Worship" the kids break out into age-specific small groups for activities that will help dig deeper into the day's Bible lesson.
During the 9:15 service we offer a discipleship program for sixth through eighth graders. All other programs are available at both services.
